I post this story after a student was asked to write a story from a picture of a man holding a chicklet in his hands:-<\/p>\n
The picture shows a draft for the new\u00a0Fine\u00a0Knoxville Chicken (FKC) \u00a0advertisement campaign. The Tennessee based franchising company wants to emphasize on what it is doing right concerning the two main subjects customers associate with the company: It\u2019s dedication in the field of ethical treatment of animals and It\u2019s firm believe, that only the freshest of meat can be the basis for the smooth taste of the fine products it offers.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
FKC\u00a0was often criticized in the past for using industrial meat which was produced using cruel and unethical methods. The man depicted shows a protective gesture when holding the chick in his hands, which will imprint the companies caring attitude towards the treatment of animals on the average customers memory. The big smile underlines even more that\u00a0FKC is happy only when their main ingredients is handled in an ethical an fair way, and so the customers can be happy when dining at a KFC restaurant.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The second important message\u00a0FKC wants the customers to remember is the fact, that the company has high standards when the quality of the raw material it uses in its products is concerned. To differentiate itself from its competitors, the picture suggests, that old and chewy meat will never be used in the production of KFC classics like the\u00a0Old-fashioned\u00a0Chick Sticks or the Zumba Burger, only chick filets, hand selected by\u00a0the CEO himself will make it in there. Again, the big smile shows how glad the customers should be when they learn about this.<\/p>\n
