I remember Windows 3.1 and how impressed I was by GUI.<br \/>\nHowever the idea there was to make things easier so that the user did not have to learn complicated dos prompt commands.<br \/>\nNow it seems that the idea is that to do anything serious on the computer, for example moving files around , searching for information etc \/ you need to know an awful lot more \/ and intuitive it isn&#8217;t.<br \/>\nMaybe new users to computers are dumber than they used to be &#8211; but I don&#8217;t think I am dumber &#8211; and to be treated like I am just makes me (and reading the comments on the user forums I see I am not the only one) mad and is incredibly frustrating.<br \/>\n1 out of 10<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Like windows 8.1 itself you notice that Microsoft have decided to invent a new GUI interface.
