{"id":327,"date":"2014-08-11T11:49:00","date_gmt":"2014-08-11T09:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.english-now.de\/blog\/?p=327"},"modified":"2014-08-11T11:49:00","modified_gmt":"2014-08-11T09:49:00","slug":"dead-fish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.english-now.de\/blog\/2014\/08\/11\/dead-fish\/","title":{"rendered":"Dead fish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi all &#8211; I was out on\u00a0<strong>the \u00a0bicycle this afternoon and, cycling alongside a\u00a0small\u00a0stream in\u00a0Niederh\u00f6chstadt, was astounded to see hundreds of dead fish &#8211; from the very small \u00a02 or 3 cm long to the quite large &#8211; 20 cm long. They were about 100 of them &#8211; small babies and larger adults.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0I felt really sad &#8211; such a sight was not something I am used to seeing &#8211; I believe they were rainbow trout &#8211; silver\u00a0fish\u00a0with a line of pink\/red circles running along their\u00a0bodies. It was so sad.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I asked some locals who lived there &#8211; and they hadn&#8217;t even noticed.<\/p>\n<p>Was this a case of lack of oxygen as the back dried up?
